Transport & Forwarding Manager



My client has gained an unrivalled reputation for customer service and support by building upon strong and long standing relationships with customers and delivering their promises. They are seeking a Transport and Forwarding Manager to join their team.

Job Specification

You will be working with in the commercial department reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Main responsibility for management of logistics activities

Undertake various project management roles



Background;

Transport management experience (ideally with experience of export control within the defence industry)



Key Competencies:

Good communicator and team member.

Literate and numerate, with computer competency.



Ideally would have

Knowledge of transport industry

Knowledge of Export licensing controls

Experience of working with explosives & weapons

Ability to interact with senior personnel (military and civilian)

Self discipline and motivation



Due to the small size of the company, a great deal of flexibility is required from all staff.
