Senior Account Handler



Our Client, a major market leader, has created a new opportunity for an Account Handler as part of their continued growth in Ipswich.



This role is within the Financial Institutions team which concentrates on hedge funds, building societies, investment trusts, stockbrokers, investment managers, fund administrators, private equity/venture capital specialists.



You would focus on financial lines covers for SMEs: professional indemnity, directors and officers, crime, EPL, PTL etc



Clients are handled across the UK with premiums typically in the range £20,000 to £250,000, though some larger placements are also managed.



We are seeking a person with relevant experience to enable the role holder to:

Be confident in advising clients

Negotiate premiums and coverages with markets

Draft relevant documentation, including slips and market presentations

Who is enthusiastic, flexible and able to work with minimum supervision.



This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your London Market Insurance experience and not commute to the City
